This calculator helps you find the total resistance of resistors. You can choose either series or parallel mode. It is useful for electronics projects, circuit design, and learning basic resistor rules.
How to Use the Parallel and Series Resistor Calculator
First, choose the mode at the top. You can select “Series” or “Parallel.” Then, enter the resistor values. You can use ohms (Ω), kilo-ohms (kΩ), or mega-ohms (MΩ). If you need more inputs, click the “+ Add Resistor” button. You can also remove any resistor by clicking the “×” button next to it.
After entering the values, click “Calculate.” The total resistance will be shown below. The result will be shown in the most suitable unit, such as Ω, kΩ, or MΩ.
All values must be positive numbers. Use the correct unit for each resistor. – In parallel mode, if you enter a value of zero, the total resistance may become zero or undefined. You can add or remove as many resistors as you need.
Use this tool to calculate the total resistance of resistors connected in series or parallel. You can enter resistance values in Ω, kΩ, or MΩ. Click “+ Add Resistor” to input more values.
